    The deputy of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Uday Awad, announced that he had collected signatures to amend Article 11 of the General Budget Law 2021, to oblige the Kurdistan region to hand over all oil and border revenues, and any government official bears the legal repercussions for passing any amounts otherwise.
    Awad said in a press conference followed by / the information /: “After reviewing the draft budget to be voted on today, and after the demands and the collection of signatures from MPs in the Al-Fateh Alliance and others, we were surprised by the presence of many articles of interest to important segments of the Iraqi people that were not included, especially the articles that affect The budget structure in general ”.
    He added, "Today we started collecting signatures in the Al-Fateh Alliance, calling for the amendment of Article 11, which obliges the region to hand over 250 thousand barrels per day to SOMO, and this material in the budget is the same as duplicated in previous budgets, which is courtesy and the loss of the rights of the people." "By handing over 250 thousand barrels with the revenues of the border crossings, and any official bears the legal repercussions of any financing otherwise, if he tries to pass funds to finance salaries or other things in contrast to the delivery of the region's revenues to the SOMO and oil revenues company."
    He went on to say that "the basic materials demanded by the deputies, including changing the dollar exchange rate, creating job grades for installing the IHEC contracts employees, launching deletions and introductions for the lecturers, leading to confirmation."
    And on the demands of the protesting graduates, he explained that “the Ministry of Oil has the ability to absorb the numbers once a text is added in the budget that gives the Oil Minister the authority to open the contract for the daily wage or contracts to meet the need,” referring to negotiating the re-contracts of oil licensing rounds and raising the employment rate from 50% -99 % For Iraqis, stressing the need for the percentage to change in licensing contracts, and this was added to the budget, as well as for installing security guards. ”End 25
