{Local: Al Furat News} Minister of Justice Salar Abdul Sattar Muhammad announced that the dues of newly installed contracts will be disbursed retroactively within a week of the budget coming into effect.

In a statement, the Euphrates News Agency received a copy of it, Muhammad said, "From the first day he took over the ministry, he was keen to find a solution to this issue and end their suffering, and he, together with the general directors in the ministry, did everything they could to obtain their rights as promised."
The statement indicated that the Minister of Justice "made several personal visits earlier, accompanied by the general directors, to the Ministry of Finance. He also met with the Parliamentary Finance Committee in Parliament to include the salaries of contracts in the 2021 budget."
