Oil prices fell, on Tuesday, as concerns escalated about the fragile state of the global recovery in demand for crude oil and fuel.
Brent crude recorded a decline of 51 cents, or 0.71 percent, to reach $70.98 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate oil fell 45 cents, or 0.65 percent, to $68.78 a barrel.
China's imports of crude fell 14.6% in May, from a high level a year ago, as maintenance at refineries limited demand for oil purchases. Ended 29/A 4
