    {Economic: Al Furat News} Minister of Commerce Alaa Al-Jubouri announced today, Wednesday, a mechanism to focus targeting the ration card for the poor and needy.

    And the ministry said in a statement that {Al-Furat News} received a copy of it, that Al-Jubouri "met with a number of supply agents in Baghdad to find out the mechanism of their work and listen to the proposals, observations and obstacles. All governorates of the country have mechanisms and a work program to modify the targeting system with the ration card, as the attention will be more to the poor segments.
    And the Minister of Commerce stated, "The priorities of the ministry's work are the ration card, because it is the share of the poor and the needy, and the provision of the food basket without a defect. For this, we have started several measures to overcome and overcome obstacles, as well as study the status of agents and diagnose previous defects and mistakes." 
    He pointed out "the importance and role of food agents and their required cooperation with the ministry in order to build bridges of communication and trust and to report negative cases so that the supervisory teams can perform their work."
    Al-Jubouri stressed "to hold the violators accountable and to take measures to ensure that the citizen obtains his right according to what is allocated to him from the terms of the ration card in full."
    The Minister of Commerce listened to the proposals and observations of the agents and the obstacles that hinder their work, promising them to overcome the obstacles and study the proposals and observations by the competent committees to benefit from them in correcting the course of work in a way that serves the public interest.

    Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Commerce revealed the vocabulary of the ration card, while confirming that it will be distributed in early July.
    A spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce, Muhammad Hanoun, said in a statement to the official agency, and followed by the “National News Center”, that “the ministry has prepared a plan that achieves, as much as possible, the regularity of distributing the ration card items to all governorates, including the compounds of displaced families in the Kurdistan region and north of Mosul.” “The ministry is towards distributing all the items of the ration card to all the provinces, and we did not encounter any obstacles or difficulties, but on the contrary, the ministry during the month of Ramadan distributed two meals, and it was a third meal for poor families and people with limited income.”
    He added, "The ministry did not encounter any obstacles in the mechanism of distributing the ration card, and it was under the direct supervision of His Excellency the Minister, as well as under the supervision of the ministry. The card's vocabulary has not witnessed any obstacles during the past period until now."
    He pointed out that “the ration card vocabulary will remain the same as the seven vocabulary, oil, sugar, rice and flour, in addition to tomato paste, beans and chickpeas, and these materials will be fixed and regular within the ration card,” explaining that “the ministry contracted with a company to distribute the ration card items and it will start its work in early July.” In cooperation with the Ministry, to distribute the ration card items within its seven items.
