The Ministry of Electricity announced, on Wednesday, that its cadres are in the process of installing mobiles to distribute power in the load centers, while indicating that there is progress in the processing hours.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Moussa, said in a statement to the official agency, "According to the Prime Minister's directives, and after monitoring problems in the power transmission and distribution sector, the ministry's cadres will start installing mobiles for power distribution in load centers, extracting nutrients, strengthening distribution networks, and treating transformer capacities with larger capacities."
He added, "The ministry has reached unprecedented numbers in energy production, and today we are on the threshold of 21,000 megawatts, and there is progress in processing hours, and it will preserve them by strengthening the power networks."
Regarding securing the energy towers, Moussa explained that "there is high coordination with the security forces and tribal dignitaries to secure the energy towers, but the violations and targeting of them continue," noting that "ports have been opened to receive citizens' communications and complaints, and monitor them to target the towers."
He added, "Iraq has achieved about 86% of the connection with the Gulf, and there is negotiation to establish a line linking the Al-Zour station with the Al-Faw station, and the cost of the line will be covered by the Gulf credit funds." Ended 29/A 4
