    {Economic: Al Furat News} The Director General of the Oil Products Distribution Company, Hussein Talib, announced the date of launching the fuel card for citizens.
    Talib told {Euphrates News}: "The company has prepared its affairs regarding the launch of the fuel card for citizens."
    "The card will be launched in early October," he added.
    "The card is issued during the winter season, and preparations are complete for that," Talib said.
    It is noteworthy that the Oil Products Distribution Company has distributed, over the past period, the new fuel cards to the ration agents in Baghdad in order to deliver them in turn to the citizens.

    {Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Trade warned the agents of distributing food supplies in Baghdad and the governorates that they would be subject to legal accountability if they demanded additional amounts of money from citizens for food basket items, stressing the commitment of its stores to all occupational safety procedures in coordination with the Civil Defense.
    The official spokesman for the ministry, Muhammad Hanoun, said in a press interview, "The ministry has warned the agents of distributing food supplies in Baghdad and the provinces that they will be subject to legal accountability if they ask citizens to pay additional amounts in exchange for providing them with the food basket items."
    He added, "The ministry has taken deterrent measures in this context, by activating hotlines to receive any violations that may occur regarding the food basket," calling on agents "not to fail to receive the rations, and to review the stores so that the citizens covered by the card, receive their entire vocabulary, whether during the morning shift. or evening."
    Hannoun revealed, "The ministry has verified the stores' commitment to all occupational safety procedures in coordination with the Civil Defense, as it has prepared firefighting vehicles and protection equipment, and has also repaired all fire extinguishing devices to preserve the foodstuffs stored in them, in conjunction with the noticeable rise in temperatures."
    In the same context, he pointed out that "the supervisory teams of the Commercial and Financial Control Department recorded a significant decrease in food prices.
