    {Economic: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Transport / the General Company for Ports of Iraq received, on Monday, five commercial ships of various goods and cargo that docked on the berths of the northern port of Umm Qasr.

    The Director General of Ports, Farhan Al-Fartousi, said in a transport statement, {Al-Furat News} received a copy of it that: "The company's ports are among the promising ports that the shipping companies look at with clear interest."
    He pointed out that: "The northern port of Umm Qasr received the ship NORTHERN DEDICATION with a tonnage of 269 containers docked at berth No. 20 and the ship ALSLMY/6 with a tonnage of 42 containers and 512 cars in addition to various loads docked on berth No. 21 and the ship LACON with a tonnage of 47,785 tons of soybeans docked on berth No. 12 and the ship BARRA with a tonnage of 34,481 tons of steel tubes moored at berth No. 18 and the ship SJDANA with a tonnage of cargo moored at berth No. 19.
    Al-Fartousi pointed out: "Cooperation and coordination with maritime navigation and the port administration to receive ships."
