    Baghdad/National News Center
Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar explained what Iraq needs to stop the burning of crude oil, revealing 3 priorities.
Abdul-Jabbar said in a televised statement, "Iraq needs investments of up to 8 billion dollars to stop the burning of crude oil in the generation of
    electric power until 2025."

And he indicated that "the country's approach to the energy file does not depend only on strengthening our capabilities in investing in gas, but rather on stopping any supposed increases in the increase in electric energy production," noting that "the plan of the Ministerial Council for Energy includes updating work specifications and increasing production to 40 gigawatts."
Abdul-Jabbar revealed three priorities for the country, saying: “The first priority is to invest all the burning gas, and the second is to convert all the fuel used in the production of electric power from liquid fuel to gaseous fuel,” noting that “the third priority is the country’s independence from importing any gaseous fuel.” .
