{Political: Al Furat News} The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri visited yesterday evening, Saturday, the head of the Leadership Council of the National State Forces Alliance, Haider Al-Abadi, and the head of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, separately in the capital, Baghdad, to discuss political developments and the file of the election results.
A statement from Al-Amiri's office said that "the attendees stressed, during these meetings, the need to follow up on appeals in the parliamentary elections through legal and judicial means."
For his part, Al-Amiri explained that "the appeal submitted by the Al-Fateh Alliance to the Federal Court last Thursday contained sufficient evidence to annul the election results."
