, on Sunday, the Corruption Criminal Court issued a 4-year prison sentence against the head of the Baghdad Investment Commission, Shaker Al-Zamili.
A statement of the Supreme Judicial Council received by Mawazine News stated, "Based on the investigations of the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Investigation of Important Crimes, today, the Corruption Criminal Court in Karkh issued a ruling against the accused, Shaker Aziz Shabib Al-Zamili, head of the Baghdad Investment Commission, to four years in prison and a fine of Ten million Iraqi dinars in accordance with Resolution 160 of 1983.
The statement indicated that the ruling came against the background of "taking bribes for the Najmat Baghdad housing project," adding: "Other cases against him are still under investigation." Ended 29/N33

Al-Rasheed decides to extend the period of selling Binaa bonds
The media office of the bank stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "it was decided to extend the period of selling building bonds to citizens," noting that "the extension period is two weeks, starting from 1/19 to 1/2/2022."
He explained, "The decision came in conjunction with the continuation of buying from citizens," adding that "these bonds are an opportunity for the citizen to invest his money by buying the number he wants in return for the interests he obtains from the bank."
