Today, Monday, the Ministry of Planning revealed cooperation with the Border Ports Authority to audit the certificate of examination of imported goods, while it announced contracting with international companies to audit the examination certificate.
Ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi said, "There is cooperation with the Border Ports Authority with regard to the entry of goods and merchandise into Iraq through the examination process for all of them."
He pointed out that "international companies have been contracted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control to inspect goods and merchandise in the country of origin to issue a certificate of examination and conformity of the inspected goods, and the certificate is sent to the border ports."
And he indicated that "there is a joint working team from the central apparatus of our ministry with the Border Ports Authority and other relevant authorities, which undertakes the process of checking the examination certificate issued against imported goods and matching them with the incoming trucks, after which the procedures are completed by entering those trucks."
He added that "the ministry has field work teams that work in cooperation and coordination with the Border Ports Authority." Ended 29 / p. 87
