     Baghdad / term 

    Planning Minister Salman Jumaili revealed the contract with four international companies for the examination of imported goods in the country of origin, and underlined the increasing rate of poverty rates in Iraq to about 30% and the unemployment rate to around 20%. 
    Jumaily said in his speech during the Fifth Conference of the Ambassadors hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "in spite of the crisis that we face today and impacted negatively on the lot of the course of development and produced a state of the economic downturn and declining growth rates and increasing poverty rates to around 30 per cent and the unemployment rate to around 20 per percent and stopped a lot of investment projects , "noting that" the Iraqi economy has the ingredients to return and the advancement of what belongs to the qualifications in the various development sectors such as tourism, agriculture and industry as well as the private sector , who are counting him so much power. " 
    He explained that " a lot of countries and international companies fully aware of the strength of our economy , so we find that companies are racing to get work contracts in Iraq , " calling on the ambassadors to "focus on this aspect and to highlight the strengths and durability enjoyed by the Iraqi economy in order to reassure the states and companies reluctant to enter Iraq. " 
    The Minister of Planning "The Ministry of Planning is working directions several in order to ensure the quality of imported goods that are identical to the Iraqi specification, has been contracted with four international companies to carry out inspection of goods in the country of origin, in addition to the adoption of the principle of mutual recognition between Iraq and a number of countries and the signing of memorandums of understanding in common with other countries, as well as Mai PEOPLE by the Central Agency for Standardization and quality control of the examination of the goods operations. " 
    Jumaili and pointed out that "Iraq today has 23 outlets land, sea, and that the presence of such a large number of ports makes the task of control over goods entering a daunting task and difficult, but nevertheless, there is an improvement in the quality of goods available in the local markets."
