Shafaq News/ The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manal Aziz Al-Khabbaz, announced today, Wednesday, that the Iraqi General Cement Company produced more than 7 million tons of this substance during the year 2021.
The Minister directed, during an inspection visit he made today to the company's headquarters, to work and strive to reduce costs and raise production to higher levels during the current year.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the prices of foodstuffs, goods, consumables, building materials, medicines and other imported materials that are included in the daily needs of the population in Iraq have risen.
