    The General Company for Iraqi Cement announced, on Tuesday, that it achieved a record production for the year 2019 exceeding 760 thousand tons, an increase of 101 percent compared to the year 2018 through its Kufa Cement Factory.
    The company’s general manager Hussein Mohsen Al-Khafaji said in a statement seen by “The Information” that “the factory staff succeeded during the year 2019 by exceeding the production of cement by 101 percent compared to the year 2018, and the amount of production reached 762 thousand and 76 tons of resistant cement.”
    Al-Khafaji added, “These results came as a result of the great and distinguished efforts of the workforce that implemented the drawn-out and systematic plans for managing the company and the factory. With record time conditions, they were able to achieve them based on increasing production and reducing costs through maintenance and rehabilitation work.”
    And he continued, “The last business of the owners of the company’s Kufa plant, was the operation of the first oven with a gas system instead of black oil, with the replacement of the sprockets of the furnace consumed and other lower parts, in addition to pouring the area with the (castable) material with the capabilities and self-efforts of the factory owner, which contributed to providing more Of one billion dinars compared to its cost if it was carried out by external companies in the field of mechanical maintenance. ”
    Al-Khafaji explained that “Kufa Cement Factory produces resistant cement and holds a quality mark certificate from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, and an international quality certificate by the French Bureau Veritas”, indicating that “the factory offers its production of cement to customers at a price of 75 thousand dinars per ton It is presented in the factory with a direct and easy cutting and processing mechanism for all sides and in large quantities. Ended / 25
