Earth News/ The economic expert, Dia Al-Mohsen, explained today, Friday, the reasons for the high rates of poverty in Iraq.
Al-Mohsen told "Earth News" that "the reasons for the high rates of poverty are many in Iraq, the most important of which is the lack of sufficient job opportunities, especially with regard to graduates, and this issue should be given great attention by the state.
He added, "The other reason, which divided the camel's back, is the rise in the price of the dollar, which the Al-Kazemi government did, which raised the poverty rate to more than 35-40%, as the citizen no longer had enough opportunity to live in prosperity.
