The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs confirmed today, Friday, its efforts to fully implement the social protection salary scale, while noting that the inclusion of new families in social protection is subject to the approval of the budget for 2022.
Ministry spokesman Najm Al-Aqabi said, "The ministry is working in accordance with Law No. 11 of 2014 and this law targets citizens above or below the poverty line,” noting that “the Ministry opened electronic inclusion in 2016, where the social researcher visits the advanced families according to a form containing the data of this form written down and entered into the Ministry’s database system to be sent to the Ministry Planning and which have the data, and the intersection is between the data owned by the Ministry of Labor and the citizen, and it determines whether or not inclusion.”
He added, "The ministry seeks to expand the coverage and application of the social protection salary scale in full, but there is a major obstacle to the ministry's work due to the lack of financial allocations," stressing that "the ministry continues, directly and indirectly, in contact with the concerned authorities to set sufficient financial allocations to include New families in social protection, in addition to the application of the salary scale for this segment.
He added, "If the 2022 budget is approved, sufficient financial allocations will be made to include new families in social protection." Ended 29 / h
