The General Company for the Automotive and Equipment Industry in Alexandria announced, on Wednesday, the reception of a joint delegation from the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, and the Ministry of Planning, with the participation of representatives of the Zamzam Spring International Company "Iraq Branch", to follow up on the approval of laboratory specifications for cars.
A statement by the General Company for Automotive and Equipment Industry stated that the company's general manager, Engineer (Hadi Ali Taha Yassin) received in his office this morning, Wednesday (8/6/2022), the representative of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, engineer Salama Mohamed Attia, assistant director general of the Technical Department, and Eng. Nassir. Hussein Badawi, and the representative of the Ministry of Planning, Eng. Ban Ibrahim Nourz, Director General of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, with the participation of representatives of Zamzam Spring International Company, Iraq Branch, Dr. Eng. Ahmed Taher, Chief Operating Officer, and Eng. Taha Al-Mashat, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was with him in the reception. , Eng. Nahed Rashid Al-Salihi, Director of the Automobile Factory, Eng. Muhammad Marzouk, Director of the Quality Control Department, and Eng. The statement continued, that this visit came based on the invitation submitted by the Director General of the General Company for the Automobile Industry and Equipment to them to see the level of vehicle production techniques in the company and to follow up on the adoption of laboratory specifications for saloon cars produced in the company.
The statement pointed out that the joint committee conducted a field tour with the Director-General to review the production lines of saloon cars in the car factory.
The attendees, after reviewing the production lines, affirmed that the General Company for the manufacture of cars and equipment through its production lines is in conformity with and subject to the conditions of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control that are in force in all the car-producing countries. Distinguished and discreet, as the Joint Committee expressed its support and overcoming all obstacles, in accordance with international and sober standards, which contribute to building a real industry that keeps pace with the technological development taking place in the industrial world.
