Today, Monday, the Central Bank of Iraq announced effective measures and proactive measures to protect the banking sector and combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
And the Central Bank stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb, received today a delegation from the Egmont Group, to discuss Iraq's accession to the group, and during the meeting, aspects of bilateral cooperation between the Central Bank of Iraq and the group were discussed, after taking special measures." with due care.”
