Today, Tuesday, the Federal Integrity Commission revealed fraud and exaggeration in the purchase of materials worth 100 million dinars in the municipalities of Nineveh.
A statement by the Commission's Investigation Department stated, "The staff of the Nineveh Investigation Directorate were able to arrest the director of the municipal liberation sector and his assistant, as well as those responsible for rents and abuses in the sector, for their failure to take the necessary legal measures to remove the violation of a sports club on a property owned by the state," noting that "During the operation, the club's president was arrested for trespassing on a 6-dunam property since 2005, using it to build sports facilities and stadiums, and collecting club revenues for his benefit without obtaining fundamentalist approvals."
The statement added that "the team carried out two separate operations in the General Company for Grain Trade - Nineveh Branch, during which it revealed cases of forgery that accompanied the purchase, installation and maintenance of the civil defense system and surveillance cameras in the company," noting that "the value of the purchased materials and the forgery of their receipts amounted to (51,940,000) ) Million dinars".
He pointed out that "violations and exaggerations in the purchase prices of diesel purifiers (filters) were seized for the benefit of the Nineveh Health Department - the right primary health care sector," explaining that "the amount of purchase (filters) amounted to (45,000,000) million dinars."
