Integrity: Cases of fraud and fake purchase worth 640 million in a Dhi Qar hospital

The Integrity Commission announced the seizure of cases of fraud and fake purchases in a hospital in Dhi Qar Governorate, with a value exceeding 640 million dinars.
A statement by the authority, which was followed by the Nasiriyah News Network, stated that cases of forgery and fake purchases were seized in a hospital in Dhi Qar Governorate.
The Commission's Investigation Department, while talking about the separate seizures carried out by the Dhi Qar Investigation Office, stated that the field team formed in the office; To follow up on the work of the health departments in the governorate, he monitored fake purchases amounting to (641,970,000) million dinars in a children's hospital affiliated with the health department in the governorate."
He added, that the team "checked purchase receipts for medicines, medical supplies and cleaning materials from the government-owned Dhi Qar textile factory, revealed forgery of processing books and arrest documents issued by the factory, in addition to the hospital's procurement committee withdrawing the purchase amounts according to a check issued to them from the hospital account in one of the Rafidain Bank branches in the governorate.
He pointed out that these matters were seized according to a "fundamentalist seizure report of the operations carried out, based on judicial notes, and presented to the judge of the Dhi Qar Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, who decided to issue an arrest and investigation order against 8 defendants charged with the work of the accounts committees in the hospital and in accordance with the provisions of the article and the provisions of Article (316) of the Penal Code.
