An upcoming meeting of "some" forces of the coordination framework with the three presidencies to find "effective solutions"
Shafaq News/ A source in the comprehensive coordinating framework of the Shiite forces, with the exception of the Sadrist movement, revealed on Tuesday that an expanded and important meeting of the three presidencies will be held with some of the coordinating framework forces.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "An important meeting will be held by the three presidencies and some forces of the coordination framework to find effective solutions that ensure everyone sits at a dialogue table."
The source added; "The information indicates an effort by the leader of the Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, to hold a meeting with the three presidencies to discuss in a serious way to end the crisis and resolve matters, taking advantage of internal and external pressure to set the pace of the political process in its new form."
On Tuesday, a source in the Iraqi Council of Ministers revealed that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi is moving to hold a round table meeting, to gather the parties in the political process.
Today, Tuesday, the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, announced his support for the initiative of the head of the federal government to hold a dialogue between the Iraqi parties and forces to come up with a solution to the current political crisis in the country.
The political scene in Iraq has undergone serious developments since supporters of the Sadrist movement led by prominent Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr stormed the parliament building in the fortified Green Zone in central Baghdad, and protested against the nomination of the coordination framework, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, for the position of Prime Minister for the next federal government.
On Monday, demonstrations against the Sadrist movement took place near the suspension bridge leading to the Green Zone, after an invitation from the "Organizing Committee to Support Legitimacy and Preserve State Institutions."
