The deputy of the coordination framework, Aref Al-Hamami, announced, on Thursday, an upcoming meeting of the framework next Sunday to study the opposition or attend the session, noting that the coordination has not announced an official position so far regarding any Kurdish candidate.
Al-Hamami said in an interview seen by / the information /, "The meetings are continuing and will be repeated during the next two days, and the coming hours may resolve matters," noting that "the meeting of Al-Hanana in Najaf is a clear message that the road is not paved to proceed with the current agreement, and the framework must be shared."
He added, "The Monday session depends on the results of the negotiations in the last hours, because they are always decisive after the Kurds' position has changed somewhat, in addition to the fact that Barzani's visit to Sadr was a signal that they cannot complete the road without our participation."
Al-Hamami explained, "The coordination will meet next Sunday to study the opposition or attend the session, and this will also depend on the nature of the understandings with Al-Sadr regarding participation in forming the government through consensus," noting that "the distribution of ministries will be according to the electoral maturity of each bloc."
He continued, "The Coordination has not announced an official position so far regarding any Kurdish candidate for the position of President of the Republic," explaining that "the agreement with the Kurds on their candidate, whoever he is, depends on the coordination framework agreement with the Sadrist movement." finished/25
