    Baghdad/
The independent deputy, Basem Khashan, spoke today, Saturday, about the resignation of the Sadrist bloc from Parliament, while stressing that if its procedures are incorrect, the Speaker of the Council bears the legal consequences.
Khashan wrote in a Facebook post, "Resignation is a personal right, and the resignation is considered acceptable from the date of its receipt to the House of Representatives, and this is what the procedures of the Australian House of Representatives followed, which states that the resignation starts from the date of its submission to the Speaker of the House or to the Secretary-General in In the absence of the president, the resignation of members of the Sadrist bloc is final, but I want to play with the idea of their return and its consequences."
He added, "The Speaker of the Council accepted the resignation of MPs, Raed Fahmy and Haifa Al-Amin, and their replacements from the Sairoon Alliance took the constitutional oath without submitting their resignations to the Council for a vote, and the President accepted the resignation of the members of the Sadrist bloc in the same way. If the procedures for accepting the resignation were incorrect, the Speaker of the Council bear all the consequences."
Khashan continued, "Accepting the resignation of the Sadrist bloc enabled the framework forces to become the most numerous parliamentary bloc, so the nomination of the prime minister became one of its rights that it gained as a result of the decision of the Speaker of the Council. Fifty Iraqi citizens, dozens wounded, in addition to heavy material losses.
And he indicated that "as a result of the decision of the Speaker of the Council, 73 deputies substituted for the members of the Sadrist bloc took the constitutional oath and assumed the functions of membership and elected a Vice-President of the Council, and salaries and membership allocations were paid to them, and the membership of the replacement deputies is void if the decision of the President of the Council is in violation of the law, and this is another serious harm done to them." In the council as a result of the decision of its president, who bears responsibility for everything that happened in the council and the country from the date of signing the resignation requests until the correction of the supposed error is corrected!”
