The Parliamentary Committee of Martyrs, Victims and Political Prisoners, headed by Representative Ahmed Al- Jubouri , head of the age, and the presence of its members, held a meeting today, Tuesday, to discuss the proposal for the first amendment to the Law of the Martyrs Foundation No. Proceeding with legislative procedures in accordance with the principle of justice and equality in order to do justice to these sacrificed segments.
The meeting came out with a number of recommendations, including “hosting the Martyrs Foundation and visiting the Supreme Judicial Council to consult the legal opinion on the draft law, and stressing the Ministry of Interior to send those responsible for completing the files of the martyrs and their attendance next week to the committee, and assigning Representative Hussein Al-Battat (the deputy head of the committee) to follow up on the file of the Fund” Police martyrs and submit a detailed report within (10) ten days regarding the fund’s imports, committees and exchange doors for the purpose of reviewing the work of the fund and the extent of achieving the goals for which it was established, as well as receiving requests for parliamentary blocs, members of Parliament and citizens regarding the amendment of the Martyrs Foundation Law.
