    [size=16][size=24]The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairy, confirmed today, Friday, that the ministry's staff monitors the local market prices through the monitoring teams spread throughout the country, while the processes of preparing the items of the food basket and the flour material continue.
    Al-Ghurairy said in a statement, "He directed the supervisory staff in the commercial control department to be present in the local market and monitor market prices, as well as to check materials that are prohibited from importing and expired materials through joint teams with the security services in the Ministry of Interior and National Security."
    Al-Ghurairy indicated, "The results of the plan were positive 72 hours after it was announced, after monitoring violations in those markets and taking legal measures."[/size][/size]
    He pointed out that "the staff of the ministry on the other side continues the processes of providing citizens with the items of the food basket within the tenth meal, as well as preparing flour to agents in all regions of the country, according to the plan announced by the ministry, which begins with families and the poorest areas."
    Al-Ghurairy stressed the importance of monitoring and following up the processing mechanisms in all processing centers, as well as checking the supplied brands to ensure their quality before they reach the citizens.
    He pointed out, "the importance of reporting cases of defects or delays that occur in the processing operations or in the work of agents through the ministry's social media sites or through the oversight teams deployed throughout the governorates that follow up on citizens' complaints and check the processing mechanisms."
