Today, Tuesday, Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani issued strict decisions after his visit to the Real Estate Registration Department in Karkh.
The ministry said in a statement, "Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani made a surprise field visit to the Real Estate Registration Department in Karkh," noting that "during the visit, the minister arrested a committee of employees who had received a sum of money in exchange for processing a transaction, and directed that the harshest penalties be taken against them."
She added, "The minister gave his personal phone number to the citizens for the purpose of communicating with him and informing him of any case of extortion."
Shawani stressed, by decisions during the visit, "preventing the entry of interpreters and guides into the judicial departments," pointing to "the importance of checking agencies to prevent the circulation of fake ones and the loss of Iraqi property."
