    [size=45]Yesterday, Sunday, the Ministry of Oil announced the rehabilitation and development of fuel filling stations in Basra, while noting that specialized committees will supervise the provision and processing of fuels for the vehicles of the guests of the Gulf Championship 25.[/size]
    [size=45]This comes at a time when the Ministry of Electricity confirmed the state of full and continuous alert in the governorate in order to make the tournament a success.[/size]
    [size=45]The Director General of the Petroleum Products Distribution Company and a member of the service and engineering effort team, Hussein Talib, said in a statement received by (Al-Mada), that “the Ministry of Oil has completed the rehabilitation and development of fuel filling stations in Basra Governorate, and completed their supply of fuel types, as a contribution to providing the best services to the guests and audience of Gulf 25.” .[/size]
    [size=45]Talib added, "The ministry pays exceptional attention to government support for Basra Governorate and the organizing committee for the 25th Gulf Championship, which aims to provide integrated services to the guests and fans of the tournament."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out, to "the formation of specialized committees under the guidance of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani, and with follow-up by the Undersecretary for Distribution and Liquidation Affairs."[/size]
    [size=45]Taleb noted, "Specialized and inspection committees from the Oil Products Distribution Company supervise the process of rehabilitating and providing petroleum products, fuel and services in all government stations and the private sector."[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed, “This is in order to achieve a high flow in the process of supplying visitors and guests’ vehicles with fuel in a high flow, as well as equipping governmental and private generators, and voluntary contribution in the service and engineering sectors, by rehabilitating roads, public squares, parks, and beautifying the governorate.”[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, the spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Musa, stated that "the ministry has entered a state of complete and continuous alert in all sectors of production, transportation and distribution in the southern region and Basra Governorate, in order to make the tournament a success."[/size]
    [size=45]Moussa added, "The Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, is directly supervising the plan prepared for the 25th Gulf Championship, based on the Prime Minister's directives."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that "Fadel had previously conducted a field visit to the Sports City in Basra to see the work and to find out about the latest preparations for the upcoming opening."[/size]
    [size=45]And Musa went on, “The minister instructed the formation of a ministerial cell to manage the electricity file before and during the tournament, and then install mobile phones, supervise the box stations inside the sports city, fully prepare lighting in all sports stadiums, and provide full service coverage for all facilities in the sports city.”[/size]
    [size=45]On a related note, the governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, said in a statement received by Al-Mada, that the local administration decided to make Monday an official holiday in the province.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Eidani added that the reason for the decision is to complete the preparations for the opening of the Gulf Championship 25.[/size]
    [size=45]Representative Taher Al-Battat stated, in a statement received by the official news agency, that "the hosting of the Basra Al-Fayhaa Governorate for the competitions of the Arab Gulf Championship in its twenty-fifth edition will be a gateway to opening broad horizons for investment and cooperation between Iraq and the Arab Gulf countries."[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Battat added, "The presence of Gulf delegations and seeing the security reality in Basra and the rest of the provinces with their own eyes, away from the yellow media machines, will send a message of reassurance to companies and investors to work in Iraq."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out, "Basra, with the efforts of the governorate and the supporting institutions, is ready and fully prepared to receive the brothers and host this great sporting event."[/size]
    [size=45]The Ministry of Transport announced, earlier, the free transfer of Gulf 25 fans from inside Basra to the stadiums, in coordination with the organizing committee of the tournament headed by Adnan Darjal, while the ministry indicated the allocation of 3 trains and 50 buses to transport fans from the governorates.[/size]
    [size=45]Last Friday, the Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Talib Baish, said, "There are two operations to transfer the fans of the Gulf 25, the first from within the Basra governorate to the stadiums, which will be free of charge, and the second is to transfer the fans from the governorates to Basra with the involvement of the private sector and it is not free, but at reduced prices."[/size]
    [size=45]Baish pointed out, "The allocation of 50 one- and two-storey buses to transport the masses in Basra," stressing that "the Ministry of Transport is ready with all the capabilities and mechanisms available to make the Gulf Championship 25 a success."[/size]
