[rtl]The leader of the Unified Anbar Alliance, Sheikh Abd al-Wahhab al-Bilawi, attacked what he called the ruling Sunni party that wants to monopolize absolute power over the liberated provinces and control the fate of their people by imposing its power over the legislative authority and executive details in the Sunni provinces.[/rtl]

[rtl]Al-Bilawi said in a statement to Al-Ahed website today, Monday, that "what is happening within the legislative authority in terms of trying to silence mouths and strike all voices opposing corruption and monopolizing power brings us back to the tragedy of dictatorship."[/rtl]

[rtl]Al-Bilawi added, "The ruling Sunni party (Progress Party), which is unique in controlling important joints in the government and its executive apparatus in the liberated governorates, is trying to declare a dictatorship that is more miserable than the dictatorship of the previous regime."[/rtl]

[rtl]"Threats constantly target all personalities and activists who are trying to oppose the ongoing corruption," he added.[/rtl]

[rtl]And he indicated that "there is a clear exploitation of political influence and security in striking opponents by the ruling Sunni party, which now wants to arbitrate the fate of thousands of news from the liberated areas."[/rtl]

[rtl]He pointed out that "the United Anbar Alliance will not keep the situation as it is and will strive to return the political process to its right track from the threats it is exposed to from the ruling Sunni party."[/rtl]

[rtl]Al-Bilawi called on "the country's partners to stand with the Sunni front against the ruling party front in order to prevent things from slipping into unimaginable consequences."[/rtl]
