    Today, Saturday, the Central Bank of Iraq announced that it will hold a meeting on Friday for long hours with each of the US Federal Reserve and US Treasury delegations in Washington, DC.


    The media office of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/314357766/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8%D9%86%D9%83 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%B2%D9%8A %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A/ar/]Central Bank of Iraq[/url] said, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "the two parties expressed their willingness to work jointly to meet the challenges of working on the electronic platform for remittances and cash."

    He added, "The delegation of the US [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/45038/%D8%A8%D9%86%D9%83 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%AA%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%B7%D9%8A %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%81%D9%8A%D8%AF%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A/ar/]Federal Reserve Bank[/url] and the US Treasury discussed a number of support and attribution mechanisms for the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/314357766/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8%D9%86%D9%83 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%B2%D9%8A %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A/ar/]Central Bank of Iraq[/url], in order to enhance its capabilities to deal flexibly with crises during this stage."






    The media office indicated that "the US Federal Bank confirmed that the procedures of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/314357766/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8%D9%86%D9%83 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%B2%D9%8A %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A/ar/]Central Bank of Iraq[/url] are in the right direction to build a sober banking sector."

    And he indicated that "the Assistant Deputy Secretary of the US Treasury explained ways to fully support the efforts of the government of Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani in economic reform, and the readiness of the US Treasury Department to provide the required support."
