Today, Wednesday, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency at the Ministry of the Interior announced the arrest of 18 suspects for manipulating the exchange rate of the dollar in three governorates.
A statement by the agency stated, "The agency's detachments arrested 18 suspects in Baghdad, Basra, and Najaf, with sums of money more than 795 million Iraqi dinars and 385,000 US dollars."
He pointed out, "The detachments closed many unauthorized money changers and money transfer offices, and legal measures were taken against them."
