The head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan parliamentary bloc met with the head of the Federal Service Council, with the aim of discussing the dues of the Kurdistan Region, which fall within the powers of the federal authorities.
A statement by the National Union bloc stated that, "Within the framework of the permanent efforts made by the National Union bloc in order to establish the rights and entitlements of the Kurdistan Region and to adopt the issues of the disputed regions, Mr. Harim Kamal Agha, head of the National Union bloc, visited, accompanied by Dr. Karim Shakour, deputy head of the bloc, The Federal Service Council met with the Council President, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Tamimi.
The statement added, "During the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Jabbar Ali Aziz, Director General of the General Authority for the Control of Federal Imports, the dues of the Kurdistan Region, which fall within the powers of the federal authorities, were discussed, in addition to the appointment of the first three graduates of public universities for the Kurdistan Region and the various regions." It is one of the most important topics discussed by the meeting.
