    Earth News/ Today, Monday, Minister of Finance Taif Sami issued several directives to Al-Rafidain and Al-Rasheed Banks, stressing   the need to implement the government program and move from paper-to-electronic transactions to provide the best services to citizens.
    A statement by the Rafidain Bank, received by Earth News, stated, “The Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, conducted a field visit to the Rafidain Bank and met with the General Manager, Ali Karim, and department managers, to see the reality of the bank’s work and the mechanism for providing services to customers.”
    The statement added, “The aim of the visit is to identify obstacles, diagnose weaknesses in the performance of the banking sector, and work to overcome them by strengthening the capabilities of the comprehensive banking system and providing its requirements to ensure the provision of the best services to the bank’s customers.”
    Sami emphasized "the need to implement the government program, specifically in applying the banking system and the goals that are achieved through it in moving from paper-to-electronic transactions, reducing time, simplifying procedures, overcoming obstacles away from routine, and intensifying efforts to improve the level of services provided to customers."
    And instructed to "overcome and overcome various difficulties and ease the burden of citizens and auditors in accordance with the regulations and laws."
    The Minister inspected the corridors of the bank's departments and divisions, and she had several directives that would develop and enhance functional tasks and capabilities, as well as direct access to the progress of the administrative and technical procedures approved in the bank, and she met with a number of auditors and listened to their needs and observations.
    The Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, visited the Rasheed Bank, and met with the bank's general manager, Basem Abd Ali Youssef, and department managers.
    A statement by the Rasheed Bank, which was received by Earth News Agency, said, “   A meeting was held during which the minister was briefed on what the Rasheed Bank presented and what it worked on in line with the government program, and praised the bank’s performance and the stages it has reached in applying the comprehensive system.”
    And Sami stressed, "Work to transform financial dealings electronically by spreading the culture of using the electronic card and raising the level of dealing with the customer."
    And it expressed its readiness to “provide full support to the bank’s management, department managers, and employees, to complete the work in accordance with the government curriculum that was prepared and recommended for implementation by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani.”
