Today, Monday, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers revealed the direction of the Iraqi government and its emphasis on the importance of paying attention to the housing sector within the ministerial program, while indicating that there is a project to distribute 500,000 residential plots to the poor and middle segments.
The spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majeed, said, "There is a tendency by the Iraqi government and an affirmation by the Prime Minister on the importance of paying attention to the housing sector within the ministerial program," stressing that "there is a project to distribute 500,000 residential plots of land to the poor and middle segments."
Majeed added, "There is also high-level coordination with the National Investment Commission," noting that "the commission's headquarters witnessed a visit by the Prime Minister, where he emphasized the housing sector and residential complexes, which is the focus of the Iraqi government's attention and among its priorities."
