[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Parliament member Alia Nassif responded to those she described as skeptical of the procedures of the judiciary and the Integrity Commission, after the issuance of arrest warrants against four officials from the previous government.. indicating: The Iraqi judiciary issued fair and professional decisions through which it transgressed the sanctity of any political or partisan figure.
And she said in a statement: "We say to those who are trying to question the decisions of the Iraqi judiciary and are calling for an international investigation. Had it not been for the judicial procedures and entrusting the case of 'theft of the century' to brave judges who do not fear the right to blame, the looted public money would not have been recovered from the tax secretariats.
Nassif stated: The judiciary has a major role in dealing with this issue in a professional manner, despite the pressures exerted on it, as it has issued decisions in which it transcends the sanctity of any political figure and was able to recover millions of dollars to the state treasury, and therefore the skeptics should respect the judicial institution that did not show courtesy.
