Nassif said in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News: “Summoning those who attack the representatives of the people and those who arbitrarily accuse them without evidence will put an end to the phenomenon of (profit through blackmail through the media and social networking sites), which has recently become a profession practiced by some weak-minded people to make a quick profit.”
She added, "This profession has developed and is no longer limited to blackmail only, as some of those who practice it now communicate with corrupt officials and collect money from them in exchange for overthrowing the regulatory authority."
