    The head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, confirmed today, Monday, that the commission's procedures in combating corruption and referring those involved in transgression of public funds to the judiciary are subject to professional and objective standards, considering the deliberate and unjustified delay in the completion of corruption files as an integral part of corruption.


    Hanoun said in a speech he delivered during his meeting with the management and employees of the Commission's investigation office in Karbala, that "corruption is a great danger that threatens state institutions and a scourge that can kill institutions and hinder them from accomplishing the tasks for which they were found, especially providing the best services to citizens, pointing out that this scourge is the reason The President in delaying projects and depriving citizens of enjoying services, pointing out that the Holy Karbala has many investment projects, especially as it enjoys a tourist nature, and work should be done with exceptional vigor and effort, so that the province is clean and free of corruption.






    He added, "Karbala is the inspiration for the revolutionaries and the destination for the reformers, and from there Imam Hussein set out with the camp of truth and integrity to confront the camp of falsehood and corruption, urging the commission's staff to be inspired by the values ​​of sacrifice and pride, and to stand up to injustice and corruption, the robbing of citizens' livelihood and enrichment at the expense of the people, pointing to the need to expedite the completion of corruption files in cooperation." With the judiciary, and exert maximum efforts to investigate, investigate and present evidence that supports the judiciary, so that the latter can issue appropriate rulings.

    And the head of the authority warned that "the policy of rotation and injecting new blood into leadership positions contributes to the development of work and gives way to some staff members to take their role and go through a new experience that can jump in the level of work of the institution, urging work to investigate the funds of officials and follow up the size of their funds and real estate that lead to Some of them were brought to court on charges of inflated money and illegal gain, pointing out that the inflation file helped the commission a lot in bringing the corrupt to justice that they did not appear before, because of their experience in concealing evidence of their corruption and their transgression of public money.
