    Alsumaria News - Politics

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, affirmed that Iraq has regained its natural position as an incubator for dialogues, while he considered the corruption pandemic a "major battle."

Al-Sudani said during a speech he delivered at the Baghdad Dialogue Conference, followed by Alsumaria News, that "our government has drawn up an ambitious program for the advancement of Iraq after years of devastation," pointing out that "Iraq has regained its natural position as an incubator for dialogues."

He added, "We are determined to restore Iraq to its natural position," noting: "We gave the private sector an important role."

The Prime Minister indicated that "the corruption pandemic is a major battle," adding, "We will not tolerate any imbalance that may cause the people's money to be exploited."

Al-Sudani stressed that "the biggest challenge is restoring the citizen's confidence," noting that "we are seeking to move towards political calm, away from the hustle and bustle."
