[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The Industrial Cities Authority discussed with Wasit Governorate the completion of the procedures for the industrial city project in the governorate.
A statement by the Ministry of Industry stated that a delegation from the Industrial Cities Authority affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals visited Wasit Governorate to follow up the procedures for establishing the industrial city project in the governorate.
The delegation met, according to the statement, the governor of Wasit Muhammad Jamil al-Mayahi, in the presence of the sectoral authorities and directors of service departments in the province, to discuss ways of coordination and joint action for the purpose of completing the privatization of the industrial city in the province and announcing it for construction and development.
The delegation presented the Ministry of Industry during the meeting, according to the statement, a detailed explanation of the mechanism of work of the authority and the technical and administrative staff it possesses and its role in planning for the success of these projects. It was mentioned that the developer will provide services to the industrial city in Wasit Governorate, including service facilities, support units, main and secondary roads, and green areas.
The statement indicated that the industrial city in Wasit Governorate will be built on an area of (5) thousand dunums, and it has been allocated to the Industrial Estates Authority, as it will contribute to providing (4,500) job opportunities for the people of the governorate in various industrial and commercial fields. It is also a great opportunity to support the industrial, agricultural and commercial sectors.
