The leader in the coordination framework, Representative Abdel-Amir Al-Mayahi, announced today, Sunday, the intention of the representatives of the framework and the rest of the political blocs to legislate the budget law as soon as possible. Indicating that we do not accept the delay any longer.
Al-Mayahi told (Baghdad Today) that "the budget, after it goes through the second reading, will work on speeding up the approval of the tripartite budget, and accordingly, there are efforts to approve the budget at most early next month."
Al-Mayahi added, "We stress Prime Minister Mohamed Shia'a Al-Sudani's development plans to gradually find alternatives to the unilateral economy."
