A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Duha Al-Qaseer, confirmed today, Thursday, that there is no fairness in the distribution of the funds of the Reconstruction Fund for the liberated areas, while pointing to the injustice of the Nineveh Governorate in allocating the funds.

Al-Qusayr said, during her interview with the Alanna program broadcast by Alsumaria TV, that "more than 400 billion dirhams have been allocated to the liberated areas, and what has been allocated to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is no more than 80 billion, and this is not commensurate with the size of the population and the damage to it, and the Sudanese decision to change those responsible for the matter was positive." Noting that "there is no fairness in the distribution of the funds of the liberated areas in the Reconstruction Fund."

She added, "The money that was disbursed from the funds for the reconstruction of the liberated areas, no one knows where it went, and the previous government had ambiguity in its actions, and many corruption cases were referred to," stressing that "Integrity is working to combat corruption retroactively by opening previous files."

Regarding the region's funds, Al-Qusayr confirmed that "there is a real inequity in the distribution of the rights of the provinces. We see that the center and the south are non-existent and lack the most basic services. Most citizens do not even have a care salary, and their allocations amounted to 2%, and the region allocates 24% of the budget to it."

And she continued: "The region presented the numbers of employees in the food security law and in the budget. These numbers rose to more than half of the first number, knowing that there are no job grades during this period, and no salaries were paid to them, and this paragraph was rejected in the budget," adding: "A committee of inquiry must Go to the region and verify the facts.”

She explained that "the regional government has become obligated to hand over its revenues and then receive what the government has to give it from the budget, and in the event that the agreements are not implemented, the disbursement of the budgets allocated to it will be stopped."
