Today, Saturday, the House of Representatives decided to adjourn its session to next Monday at one o’clock in the afternoon, after completing the first reading of 7 bills.
Earlier, the House of Representatives completed the first reading of 7 bills during its first session in the second legislative term.
The Parliament's media department said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the House of Representatives has completed the first reading of the draft law of the first amendment to the Iraqi Housing Fund Law No. (32) of 2011."
She added, "The House of Representatives has completed the first reading of the draft law to compensate patients with immunodeficiency, and has also completed the first reading of the draft law of the ninth amendment to the Law of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (40) of 1988."
And she continued, "The House of Representatives completed the first reading of the draft law amending the law of Iraq's accession to the International Convention on Load Lines of 1966 and its amended protocol for the year 1966 amended in 2003 No. (15) for the year 2020."
She pointed out that "the House of Representatives also finished the first reading of a bill amending the law of Iraq's accession to the International Convention on Load Lines, and it also completed the first reading of a bill ratifying an agreement between Iraq and the government of Armenia to exempt holders of diplomatic and service passports from the entry visa."
