After his legal team requested that civil trials be postponed to 2026, a New York federal judge expressed growing impatience with what he described as former President Donald Trump's "repeated efforts to delay" a defamation lawsuit against him, for the fourth time.
Judge Louis Kaplan confirmed that he would not stop the trial session scheduled for January 15, due to the lack of any justification, describing the justifications provided by Trump's lawyers as trivial, as he put it.
