On Sunday, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities completed the road rehabilitation project linking Al-Nukhayb district and the 160th kilometer area, within Anbar Governorate, with a length of 142 km.
The Ministry's media center stated in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, "The project, which cost about (14) billion dinars, is being implemented under the supervision of the Department of Roads and Bridges, through the Hammurabi General Company, affiliated with the Ministry, and is considered one of the important and vital projects, as it will contribute to facilitating traffic." vehicles, stimulating commercial movement through border crossings, as well as facilitating the movement of security forces in those areas.”
The statement indicated that "the work on the project included covering the road with three layers (base, bond, and surface), in addition to earthworks, compacted gravel, refining shoulders, planning, and conducting regular diversions and alternative roads."
