Today, Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani participated in the emergency office meeting of the Arab Lawyers Union in Baghdad, coinciding with the union’s celebration of the 90th anniversary of its founding.
During his attendance at the celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the Bar Association, the Minister indicated that the Ministry of Justice interacts positively with Iraqi lawyers who perform their work in judicial departments, by facilitating all matters related to the course of legal work and removing the obstacles they face.
Dr. Khaled Shawani explained that working with the lawyer must be based on partnership to ensure that procedures are conducted in accordance with the law and that the justice system is achieved, praising at the same time the pioneering and historical role of the Iraqi Bar Association as a founding member of the Arab Lawyers Union, and its firm positions in defending the achievement of justice.
