The Council of Ministers approved, on Tuesday, an increase in the salaries of specific categories of employees.
Al-Sudani's office stated in a statement received by Mawazine News that, "The Council of Ministers approved granting lump sum allocations of 50% to employees of the eighth, ninth, and tenth grades."
He added, "The increase includes employees who do not receive any allowances other than certificate and professional allowances."
Earlier today, the Council approved a lump sum increase of one hundred thousand Iraqi dinars to the salaries of retirees, who receive salaries of one million dinars or less.
