    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani confirmed, this evening, Monday, to the United States Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski, Iraq’s commitment to protecting diplomatic missions in Baghdad.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement from Al-Sudani’s office stated, “During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, and files of joint cooperation in various fields were discussed. The meeting also witnessed a discussion of cooperation relations between the Central Bank of Iraq and the US Treasury, as a number of topics will be discussed in the meeting that the two parties will hold this week.” “Next.”[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that the meeting touched on the tragic events taking place in Gaza, and the genocide crimes it is witnessing targeting innocent civilians by the occupation authorities. He pointed out the extent of the serious violations of Palestinian rights and the worsening humanitarian situation.[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister affirmed Iraq's firm and principled position on the Palestinian issue, stressing the need to stop the attacks committed by the occupation forces, open safe corridors and allow the entry of food and medical aid to civilians, as well as guarantee the rights of the Palestinians to live in dignity and security.[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed to Iraq's commitment to protecting diplomatic missions, as well as protecting security advisors within the international coalition mission to combat ISIS, stressing that the security services are carrying out their legal duties in maintaining security and stability on Iraqi territory, according to the statement.[/size]
