Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Office, head of the project follow-up team, Ali Razouki Hussein, confirmed today, Saturday, that the completion of the People's Hospital will be very soon.
Razouki Hussein told the official agency that, “Directly commissioned by the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, the projects follow-up team of the Prime Minister’s Office conducted a visit to the People’s Hospital, one of the large scientific and medical edifices in Baghdad Governorate, which is expected to be completed as soon as possible.”
Hussein added, "The establishment of the People's Hospital is intended to serve our people and our deprived areas for a long period of time, especially since there is pressure on the Medical City in the capital, Baghdad."
He continued, "After the Prime Minister's recent directives to resolve the dilemmas and what is hindering the success of these projects, we came today to this project and found great progress in the work in exchange for very simple problems such as connecting electricity, water and sewage poles and establishing a treatment unit," stressing that "the completion of the hospital "It will be very soon."
Hussein pointed out that, “last week, the Prime Minister held an important meeting in his office, and directed to solve all problems regarding the price difference of the dollar and the issue of inflation,” noting that “the medical devices are equipped to a very large extent, and if the rest of the medical devices are estimated to arrive, the completion rate will reach 80 percent.” %".
He concluded by saying, "We have come today, to follow up on the other paragraphs in order to open the project as soon as possible so that it provides its services to the community in general and to the people of the people and the surrounding area in particular."
For his part, the project manager, Engineer Amer Khalil, told the official agency, “With continuous follow-up by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and in coordination with the committees of the Resident Engineer Department and the Ministry of Health, Raya Al-Alamein Company is implementing the 200-bed People’s Hospital, which It contains all the details according to the specializations, as it consists of a number of buildings, including the lobby building, which consists of 7 floors, the doctors’ role building, the emergency and surgical building, in addition to the operating rooms, which consist of 8 rooms.
Khalil pointed out that “the completion rate of the hospital project has reached a high rate of more than 75%,” stressing that “efforts are continuing with great effort to complete this work according to the directives.”
