    On Thursday, the US State Department stressed the need to conduct an investigation into the attacks on its embassy in Baghdad.

    The Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “We made clear to the Iraqi Prime Minister the need to conduct an investigation into the attacks on our embassy and hold those responsible accountable.”

    In another matter, the US [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/43996/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AE%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%AC%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]State Department[/url] said, “It is up to the Israelis as to how long the military operation will take,” adding, “We watched an inappropriate video clip of Israeli soldiers reciting Jewish hymns inside a mosque in Jenin, and we are concerned.”


     
    She added, “We are engaged in talks with the Israelis regarding the duration of the conflict, and we do not want it to continue longer than is necessary,” stressing that “There are rules and conditions associated with any American weapons in the world, including acting in accordance with humanitarian law.”
     
    She continued, “We are constantly holding talks with the Israelis about ensuring the use of weapons in accordance with international law.”
