The Baghdad Municipality announced, on Wednesday, the success of the campaign to raise election propaganda in all areas of the capital by up to 95%.
The official spokesman for the secretariat, Muhammad al-Rubaie, said that the operation began in the early morning hours of yesterday, Tuesday, and was carried out under the guidance of the Mayor of Baghdad.

Al-Rubaie confirmed that the agricultural, hygiene, and violations departments of the municipalities participated in the campaign, as tasks were distributed among them to ensure that all pictures, election propaganda, and posters for the candidates were uploaded.
He added that owners of electoral advertisements pasted on building facades were warned to remove them within three days, and in the event of non-compliance, an advertising tax will be imposed on those billboards.
For his part, Assistant Director of the People's Municipality, Saad Al-Daraji, explained that emergency teams were formed to participate with other departments in raising election propaganda, and the work was distributed among specialized departments and teams, which achieved great progress in completing the task.
