Today, Tuesday, a member of the House of Representatives, Thaer Meheif, accused the former Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, regarding the American presence in Iraq, while confirming that the latter claims patriotism and has a relationship with the Americans and the Zionists.

In an interview with the Maalouma Agency, Makhif said, “The former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, complimented the American side by implementing the decision to remove his forces from Iraqi territory,” indicating that “Halbousi’s compliment included the American company that has relations with the Zionist entity.”
He added, "This company was completely penetrating Iraq's security and sovereignty through its relationship with the Speaker of Parliament, who claims patriotism and heads the legislative authority in Iraq, in light of his relationship with the Americans and the Zionists."
The member of the House of Representatives explained, "The exit of the American occupation in the past was formal and not actual in the shadow of military bases and aircraft, such as those that bombed the headquarters of the security forces yesterday and led to the martyrdom and injury of many security leaders and civilians."
